Wine Glass Project Instructions
Materials
- Wine glass or a glass with a base
-
E6000 or clear liquid nails
- Black Grout
- Materials
- Tweezers
- Gloves, containers, rags or sponge for grouting
Steps
1. Select your tiles
2. Adhere The Tiles
Apply your clear drying tacky adhesive (E6000 or Clear Liquid Nails work well) small sections, so the adhesive doesn't dry out. Lay your tiles using a pair of tweezers.
Wait 24 hours for the adhesive to dry before grouting. Run your hand over the mosaic before grouting to ensure all tiles have adhered securely.
3. Grouting
When grouting, always wear gloves, as the grout will dry your hands out.
Mix a small amount of powdered grout with water, I mix my grout so it is a bit drier than normal. Once mixed, place a small amount of grout onto your tiles and rub it into the gaps between them. Once you have covered the entire mosaic, scrape off the excess and let it dry. Wait until the grout has started to dry (the grout will become dull), and carefully clear off the excess grout with a moisture cloth and buff clean.
